The focus
In the film, this special light combines with the mountain panorama and the carefully designed golf holes around the water.
The production
Commissioned by the Austrian Golf Association, I experienced one of the most extraordinary mornings of my filming career in Schladming. The course was being watered in temperatures around freezing; when the first rays of sunlight appeared, beautiful ground mist lay over the fairways. The result is one of my personal favourite films — a record of the moments that make getting up early worthwhile.
