The focus
The course maintenance particularly impressed me: this quality would already be remarkable in the valley, but under the conditions at this altitude it is all the more exceptional to me. There is also the warm, family atmosphere around managing director Markus Kleißl and his team. The film shows a golf course that inspired me far beyond its nine holes.
The production
Lech changed my view of nine-hole golf courses. For the Golf Austria campaign, I filmed the course in Zugertal at around 1,500 metres above sea level — set within mountain scenery, with mountain streams and waterfalls nearby.
